Successful GMP & Food Safety Audit for Almondina(R) Cookies Manufacturer Using JustFoodERP Traceability
Maumee, OH-based YZ Enterprises, Inc., makers of the popular Almondina® Cookies, has experienced a successful audit for food safety and GMP because of the traceability functionality within their JustFoodERP software system.

Other functionality within the JustFoodERP software system being utilized at the cookie bakery includes sales, purchasing, inventory management, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, quality, and financials. YZ Enterprises, Inc. made the switch to JustFoodERP from their legacy Microsoft Dynamics GP system because they wanted a food industry-focused ERP system that meets more of their requirements than accounting.
YZ Enterprises, Inc. employs 30 people at the 16,000 sq. ft. bakery and warehouse in Maumee, OH making more than 180,000 all-natural, non-dairy, Kosher and Parve Almondina Brand Cookies per shift. The product is carried by major retailers in 50 states, and they've hadmuch success with in-store sampling and trial programs at several locations, including co-op trial programs with other products, such as wines and cheeses, resulting in clear lifts in demand, up to 12% per day.
