In honor of Wendy and Stephen Siegel and their efforts in expanding the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, the Empire State Building was lit up in a brilliant orange yesterday. For 25 years, the non-profit and the Siegels have worked to cure blood cancer through marrow and stem cell donations. On June 2, Gift of Life will hold their annual gala in New York City to celebrate their success.
For 25 years Gift of Life Marrow Registry has registered nearly a quarter million bone marrow donors, and facilitated thousands of life-saving transplants. Their 2016 event takes place June 2 in NYC, where they will introduce a recipient to their life-saving donor for the first time.
Tovah Feldshuh, who most recently starred in AMC series "The Walking Dead," CW's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", will emcee charitable event this June where she will introduce bone marrow transplant recipients to their heroic, life-saving donors for the very first time.
