Submission Deadline Extended For 2015 Atlanta Mobile Awards
2nd Annual Atlanta Mobile Awards to be held at Center Stage on September 3rd. Deadline for entries extended until August 7th.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) July 22, 2015 - Today the Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization (AMMO) announced that it has extended the submission deadline for the 2015 Atlanta Mobile Awards to August 7th at 5p EST.
"We have had numerous requests to extend and we wanted to give everyone as much time as possible." said Kyle Rollins, Director at AMMO. "There will be no additional extensions so make sure to get your entries in by August 7th."
This year the Awards will be judged by a panel of experts from Atlanta. Returning judges include Steve Bachman from the Wireless Technology Forum and Michael Kogon from Pull-A-Part while adding Gabe Arronte of Make & Build and Trish Whitlock of Hypepotamus. Applicants will be invited to meet the panel of judges in August so they can pitch their mobile project in person. "We are thrilled and a little overwhelmed by the response to this year's awards," said Josh Gertz, Director, AMMO. "We will have more than double the number of applicants from year 1 by the time registration closes."
Another first for this year's awards is the addition of Max Groves of Comcastro as the MC for the show. Comcastro is a popular podcast from Atlanta with more than 2,000 daily subscribers. Applicants will be given the opportunity to be interviewed by Comcastro and have their projects featured on the program.
