His art work is a reflection of the natural world and he strives to create images that connect the viewer with the beauty of nature. Utilizing traditional and new techniques he brings vibrancy to his works and his paintings reveal layers of color, texture, and light.

In his art career started in 1968 as a Potter, he gained recognition regionally and nationally by showing his pottery and watercolors in prestigious NW Art Galleries, Museums and Shows such as: NW Pacific Arts & Crafts Show, Bellevue Museum of Arts and Crafts, The Portland Art Museum,The Oregon School of Arts & Crafts, Portland State University, Columbia Art Gallery, Hood River, Portland's Art Quake and the Contemporary Crafts Gallery to name a few.
