Together we can "help heal the hidden wounds of war"!
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 23, 2013 - Studio 360 is the only studio in Manhattan dedicated exclusively to indoor cycling and yoga. Founded on the belief that what goes around comes around, one dollar per student per class is donated to a different monthly charity. Studio 360 has partnered with the Headstrong Project for the months of December and January.
"We are honored to partner with the Headstrong Project. There is a natural symbiosis in supporting the work of the Headstrong Project and our aim at Studio 360 which is deep personal and physical transformation. Physical exercise, yoga and meditation- the stillness of the mind that comes with yoga- has proven to benefit PTSD and other mental illness. " Say Studio 360, Director Jan Lauren Greenfield. "Also, my grandfather was veteran and suffered with Mental Health issues."
Studio 360 offers cycling, yoga, and Studio 360's special Signature Series that combines a 40 minute cycling ride with a 20 minute yoga class to "integrate, strengthen and lengthen." Studio 360 also offers "Mommy & Daddy Near Me" classes, kids yoga with concurrent cycling classes for parents in the next room.
Jan Lauren Greenfield is Studio 360's Director. She's a certified yoga teacher E-RYT, author, artist, and entrepreneur. She began studying yoga in Nepal at age 18.
