Students Against Violence Everywhere Starting 2014 Grateful For New Funding
McGlinchey Stafford and Aéropostale Support SAVE in the Effort to Make U.S. Schools Safer.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) February 05, 2014 - The National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere, a nationwide nonprofit dedicated to decreasing the potential for violence in our schools and communities, has received funding to promote safer schools in 2014. McGlinchey Stafford, a corporate law firm with multiple offices nationwide, and Aéropostale, the popular youth clothing retailer with store locations across the country, both generously contributed to the national nonprofit. SAVE will utilize the additional funds to aid schools across the country in their efforts to reduce violence and promote safer school environments.
McGlinchey Stafford, which has offices in New York, Louisiana, Ohio, Texas, Florida, California and Mississippi, donated to SAVE as part of its annual holiday donation on behalf of its clients. Aéropostale awarded SAVE with a $10,000 grant through its corporate foundation, Aero Gives. Aéropostale selected SAVE for this grant as part of its continued commitment to supporting organizations that directly benefit children and teens.

"Providing the resources to help prevent violence is a collaborative effort and we couldn't do it without organizations like these. In addition to the contributions from McGlinchey Stafford and Aéropostale, SAVE is also continuing to expand its efforts thanks to a substantial grant from The Allstate Foundation that is aimed at promoting teen safe driving activities and youth safety efforts. The grant has been awarded to 37 SAVE chapters in North Carolina and Mississippi to conduct safe driving campaigns.
