Student Wins the Seven Seas Worldwide Car Competition
International shipping company Seven Seas Worldwide has announced the winner of their student car competition which has seen students from all over the UK enter for the chance to win a brand new Ford Fiesta Edge.
- (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2011 - On Friday 8th July, Mohammad Subhan Anwar Khan became a very happy student indeed. After his name was drawn from a hat, Mohammad was called by Seven Seas Worldwide with the good news.
'The first thing I thought was that someone was playing a practical joke,' said Mohammad, 'but they kept insisting they were serious. And when they mentioned my entry form details, I knew it was true! I was amazed. I still am.'
For the last eight months Seven Seas Worldwide has been travelling all over the UK, inviting students to enter the competition and spreading the word about their hugely successful student shipping service. Seven Seas Worldwide have been moving people's excess baggage and personal belongings all over the world, door-to-door, for over fifteen years and one of their key customer groups are students.
'The UK receives an enormous influx of students from across the globe every year,' said director of Seven Seas Worldwide, John Henderson. 'We've tried hard to accommodate students and make the business of moving a relatively straightforward affair. The car giveaway helped us focus on students' needs as we visited universities up and down the country. Plus it was nice to give something back!'
Mohammad expects to receive his prize shortly. 'I cannot wait. I've worked hard all year at uni and winning the car has really made my summer.'
