Student Fashion Designers From Iadt-sacramento Exhibit Style And Flair At Annual California Exposition And State Fair July 25, 2010

The International Academy of Design & Technology, Sacramento (IADT-Sacramento) puts its fashion design students on center stage during the annual California Exposition & State Fair on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Featured on the Golden One Stage, approximately 25 student designs from the categories of avant-garde, haute couture and decades (20s, 30s, etc.) will be presented.
Joining the show is top talent from the international modeling world. Caridee English,
winner of "America's Next Top Model" (Cycle 7) will join the festivities as a guest model.
A CoverGirl™ contracted by Elite Models, she was featured in a six-page fashion editorial and cover for Seventeen Magazine shortly after the show and has been featured in numerous publications. She is also the host of Oxygen's show, "Pretty Wicked." Also from "America's Next Top Model" (Cycle 5 contestant), Bre Scullark, best known for her raspy, sultry voice and spunky personality, will be present. Scullark was voted CoverGirl™ of the week twice on the show and is currently signed to Ford Models. In addition, international model Gisele Alicea, former Patricia Field Boutique NY model, will strut in style and bring exotic flair to the event.
Students in the Fashion Design and Merchandising degree programs are encouraged
to develop their creative talents, so they can create new design ideas and innovative ways in which to market those ideas. The California Exposition & State Fair venue allows these future designers to display their techniques of fine craftsmanship and consumer apparel development, and the community is invited to witness their "style in action."
IADT-Sacramento's "High Fashion Nation" is open to the public upon entry into the State Fair. Buyers, employers and the community are invited to attend this special event, which showcases the high quality education and skill of IADT-Sacramento's student designers:
