Struggling Home Stagers Receive Encouragement from Staging Diva
Expert home stager Debra Gould encourages home stagers not to give up on their dreams. Gould tells her personal tale of perseverance along with stories of others who found success after facing much rejection.

As examples, in 5 years' time, James Dyson developed 5,126 prototypes before he succeeded in inventing the first bagless vacuum cleaner. Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen endured 130 rejections before their first Chicken Soup For The SoulŪ book was published. Oprah Winfrey was even fired as a TV reporter because she was "unfit for TV."
Debra Gould, home staging expert and founder of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program, has a similar story to share.
"It wasn't all that long ago when I started my home staging business and spent over a year struggling as a single mom while trying to figure out the right formula for making money as a home stager," explains Gould. "Everyone told me there was no market for home staging because real estate was selling quickly, often with multiple offers. I persevered anyway, and into my second year I was making up to $10,000 a month just in staging fees. Fast forward to today, and I've shared my blueprint for building a successful home staging business with 4,000 students in more than 20 countries. Even 5 years ago, I would not have thought that was possible!"
