This will be no puff piece "I'm okay, you're okay" back scratching literary review. Blitz Review has set up scientifically strict artistic standards for reviewing books, beginning by utilizing the services of critic King Wenclas, formerly of the notorious writers group Underground Literary Alliance.
Why is this important? Because you're guaranteed an honest review, with nome of the cronyism that taints establishment book review outfits.
Further, Blitz Review will provide a balanced mix of big names and unknowns. The rarest of phenomena in America today: a level playing field! (Gasps at The New Yorker magazine.) If you're good, Blitz Review will say it.
Preferred Blitz reads: small paperback novels or short story collections. No thick novels please unless you're Dumas or Tolstoy. Fantasy is frowned upon-- the market is choked with too much fantasy, too many wizards, zombies, and vampires. Other genres are okay for now.
Blitz Review seeks good pop writing that's fun and sharp, preferably about America today. Historical or sci-fi fiction if it's very good!
