Stretford End Releases New Music Video
Stretford End has released a graphic music video for their new single entitled "Cannibal".
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) November 23, 2011 - Stretford End, a rock alternative band hailing from the Hollywood, CA area, announced today that they have released a new music video for their newest single, entitled "Cannibal".
"Cannibal" is about "the way a strong desire can take control of and corrupt the human soul", stated Alexander Millar, the band's lead vocalist and guitarist.
"Anything we lust after, be it power, money, sex, status, what-have-you, can become the driving motivational force in our life and start to define who we are as human beings if we're not careful", Millar went on to say.
"Cannibal" was released on Halloween, a holiday that was especially appropriate due to the content of the video. The story follows a jealous ex-boyfriend as he becomes possessed with the desire for revenge against those he feels have wronged him, and the ensuing chaos is both bloody and darkly humorous, much in the style of American Psycho.
Debuted via YouTube, "Cannibal" has already gathered over 16K views during its first three weeks.
