Strand Cruise Myanmar Passengers Can Apply For Tourist eVisa Before Travelling
The Strand Cruise passengers can apply online for a tourist eVisa before travelling to Myanmar for their luxury Myanmar river cruise.
- (1888PressRelease) October 28, 2015 - The eVisa is available to citizens of 100 countries and can be applied for at www.evisa.moip.gov.mm
It can be used to enter Myanmar through the international airports of Yangon, Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay.
The eVisa is valid for a stay of up to 28 days from the date of arrival and comes with a validity period of 90 days from the issuing date.
In applying for the eVisa, an applicant's passport must be valid for at least six months and one colour photograph taken during the past three months is required. A fee (non refundable) of US$50 can be paid with Visa, MasterCard or American Express. An email acknowledgement is sent to the applicant within one hour of successful payment of the fee.
Once approved, the applicant will receive an eVisa approval letter via email. This letter must be printed out and presented to immigration with passport upon arrival in Myanmar.
The eVisa application processing time is stated on the website as being up to three working days.
