  • (1888PressRelease) April 30, 2013 - Stonehill Engineering, which operates on a site established more than 38 years ago, has installed two further machines with 4th axis, giving it the capacity to complete a greater and wider-ranging amount of jobs than ever before.

The machines, an Agie Chamilles VCE 1600 and VCE800, are the latest in a long line of machinery and technology to be added to Stonehill Engineering's Huntingdon-based plant.

The company has also recently announced that it has standardised its CAD-CAM package within both of its sites so as to achieve faster lead times and even more accurate work across the board.

    Works Manager Parviz Khabiri says:
"Over the last twelve months we have purchased several items and taken on new employees to increase our manufacturing capabilities. The collective result is a plant which has the ability to process orders to a very high quality, whilst retaining reasonable prices and competitive lead times."

Stonehill Engineering offers a wide range of services including CNC and conventional machining, injection moulding, toolmaking, welding and milling.
