Stoneham based Short Sale Negotiation firm, speaks at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education
Short Sale Mitigation, LLC has been invited to speak by CATIC on a panel of experts on October 25th to Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education MCLE. The panel consists of Kim Downey from Salem 5, Jeff Chute of Chute & Payzant Real Estate, Inc., Amanda Zuretti Title Counsel from CATIC, and Maryann Little and Nick Aalerud of Short Sale Mitigation, LLC.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) October 24, 2012 - The CLE course will offer attorneys 2 substantive credits and focuses on Short Sales and Deeds in Lieu of foreclosure.
"It's a thrill to sit on a panel of experts such as this," says Little, "We find there is still so much confusion over short sales from the real estate community and we hope the attorneys gain some valuable insight during the presentation."
Conceived as a committee of the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA), MCLE was incorporated in 1969 as a joint venture of the MBA and the Boston Bar Association (BBA). They provide comprehensive high quality continuing legal education to a comprehensive audience.
"I think the important part for us in dealing with attorneys and short sales in Massachusetts is they realize they cannot change a selling lender's approved final HUD-1. It's not the same as a traditional sale. They MUST follow the guidelines set forth in the approval letter or the sale can be rescinded," Little explains. Little hopes the live conference will address any unanswered questions attorneys have related to short sales.
The conference is scheduled for 3:00 PM on October 25th at the Winter Street location of MCLE in Boston and will also be recorded for attorneys to download at a later time.
