Stevens-Henager College Rolls Out Its Bachelor of Science in Graphic Arts with Information Design Emphasis

Information design refers to the visual representation of information in an effective, efficient, and easy-to-use manner. Although this discipline is a subset of graphic design, information design may involve the use of written instructions in addition to sketches and drawings to communicate a message or an idea. Consequently, information designers must have proficiencies in high-level attention, attraction, and retention.
The graphic arts program at Stevens-Henager College aims to provide graduates with this expertise, along with the usual competencies in graphic design. The curriculum is structured around courses such as Technical Communication, Information Design, Package Design, Logo and Identity Design, and Advertising Design.
