The cooperative-work study program is available to all international students enrolled in a master's degree program at Stevens-Henager College and is aimed at helping them apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
Under this program, international students are able to work 40 hours per week and are paid the same wages as their American counterparts.
The work-study program presents a wonderful opportunity for international students not just to get some experience in their chosen field, but also to use the money they earn to pay for their college tuition and fees, as well as take care of their other expenses, including food, accommodations, and transport.
Although the scheduled length of a typical work-study program at Stevens-Henager College is 15 months, students may need up to six additional months to graduate when participating in a work-study program. The school does everything it can to make sure its students are able to cope with the demands of their curriculum and work.
The college offers flexible schedules, evening classes, and employment assistance to all international students to help them ease into a routine.
Stevens-Henager College realizes that starting a new life in a strange country can be intimidating for most individuals, which is why it tries to make the transition for its international students as smooth as possible by offering help in areas like student visas, housing, health insurance, financial aid, etc.
The school currently offers master's programs in the fields of business administration, healthcare administration, and nursing administration. To enroll in any of these programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited school and meet minimum TOEFL or IELTS score requirements in addition to fulfilling other admission criteria.
