Steven Tan Russell Bedford appoints two new partners
Eugene YIO and KI Lian Heng join Singapore accounting firm’s senior management team.
- (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2017 - Russell Bedford Steven Tan PAC, member firm of the Russell Bedford global accounting and audit group in Singapore, has expanded to a five-partner practice with the appointment of Eugene YIO and KI Lian Heng.
Eugene and Ki have, between them, over 30 years of experience in audit and assurance, both spending a number of years with a Big-4 firm.
Eugene has been involved in the statutory and non-statutory audit of various international and local companies since 2002. His experience covers a wide range of industries, including communication, infrastructure, manufacturing, environmental management, retail, investments holding and dealing and general trading. He has also worked as a practice reviewer with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore.
Ki has been involved with the statutory and non-statutory audit and assurance of various profit and non-profit organisations and government offices since 1996. His experience ranges from the control and approval of intellectual properties in Singapore to the provision of legal and medical consultancy services. He also has experience in sectors such as government, management services, engineering, construction, property development, hospitality, education, manufacturing, retail, power and utilities generation, investments holding and dealing.
Both Eugene and Ki have extensive experience in IFRS, reporting to the auditors of international clients, as well as managing audits for holding companies (listed on Singapore Exchange) that require reporting from subsidiaries domiciled in various countries.
Eugene and Ki are members of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (formerly known as Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore).
