- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) April 21, 2022 - Montgomery County, PA residents, Steven J. Russo and Ashley T. Russo purchased the assets for Northern Millwork, Inc (NMI). NMI has been a local union cabinet and millwork manufacturing company since 1996. The new company will operate under the name Northern Millwork Designs, Inc. (NMD) and has plans to expand their product portfolio and geographic footprint. Mr. Russo has an extensive background in technology and is a 20-year veteran in manufacturing. He plans to bring process improvements to the company, while focusing on enhancing the premium quality their customers have come to expect.
NMI, now NMD, manufactures cabinetry and millwork product for hospitals, corporate offices, multi-family housing units and universities within and around the Philadelphia / South Jersey region. The company proudly employ union employees (Local 252 Carpenters Union) and utilizes American-made raw materials. Some of their notable past achievements include reproduction of historical millwork and providing millwork products for museums around Philadelphia.
