The Surrender is the latest band to benefit from Stereofame.com's continued support of the indie music community.
(1888PressRelease) January 16, 2009 - The Surrender is a 4-piece group that features members of Hole and Rock Kills Kid (Warner Bros), whose hard-hitting live show has generated a loyal fan base in the Los Angeles and San Diego rock scenes. The band discovered Stereofame.com through Myspace. "We started getting really great exposure from the minute we created an account with Stereofame," says Collin Elliott, lead vocalist for the group. "Being on Stereofame has increased traffic to our other sites considerably, and the level of industry savvy is apparent within the Stereofame community. Feedback from the people on the site are educated and thought out. It's impressive."`
The band plans on using their earnings towards the purchase of a tour van. They will be launching a west coast tour in late Feb., then hitting SXSW in Austin, TX in March.
