"Steelhenge was approached by the convener of the Business Continuity Institute's South West Forum to provide a speaker on the recently published National Security Council's strategy document: A Strong Britain in an Age of Uncertainty: The National Security Strategy, and we were delighted to put James forward," said Isobel Nicholas, Director of Communications for Steelhenge. "The National Security Strategy examines threats to the UK which present the most risk and explores the structures and processes needed in place to mitigate them," Isobel explained.
"James's presentation will focus on the cyber threat aspects of the National Security Strategy, including comprehensive definitions of cyber crime and the threats it presents to both individuals and businesses. He will also examine what can and should be done by businesses from a business continuity viewpoint." When asked why James was put forward, Isobel replied; "James is a seasoned business continuity and information security expert, and as a result is well placed to pull the two disciplines together to address a cyber threat. He's an excellent speaker, recognised thought leader and committed to raising awareness of the scale and significance of the cyber threat to business continuity," Isobel concluded.
