- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) May 16, 2013 - Award winning, St. Louis based Internet strategy, design and development firm, SteadyRain, is excited to announce that Chief Technology Officer Bryan Porter has earned the Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM) distinction for Microsoft SharePoint Server.
Microsoft masters-level certifications validate the deepest level of product expertise as well as the ability to design and build the most innovative solutions for complex on-premises, off-premises and hybrid enterprise environments using Microsoft technologies. The Microsoft Certified Solutions Master distinction is the pinnacle of excellence for IT professionals. Bryan Porter is one of 41 MCSM in the United States, and one of only 14 individuals with the distinction that are not directly employed by Microsoft.
"Having participated in the beta rotation of the Microsoft Certified Master: SharePoint 2010 program, I can tell you that participating in a beta rotation of a Masters level program is always a daunting challenge. You are navigating course material and instructional material that's never been delivered before, at a depth that is incomparable to other certification programs," said Porter. "As with all of the Masters level certification programs, the quality of the instruction and material was rivaled only by the challenge, depth and breadth of the knowledge and lab exams. I'm looking forward to using much of my new skills and knowledge of Microsoft platforms to develop integrated, successful work for SteadyRain clients and provide beneficial SharePoint training."
Since joining the SteadyRain team in July 2012, Porter has been instrumental in engineering Microsoft business solutions for the firm's clientele. From strategy, planning and website architecture to brand compliant implementation, Porter has utilized his Microsoft certification expertise to lead SteadyRain clients through unique, revenue-generating projects. Additionally, Porter has led the development of deep and broad SharePoint training curriculum for delivery both on-site and in SteadyRain's training facilities. His successful contributions include work on Microsoft and SharePoint platforms for numerous global Fortune 500 companies and a prestigious local law firm.
"SteadyRain is incredibly proud of Bryan for his achievement of the Microsoft Certification of Solutions Master, and as a long-time friend I am even more proud of him. He is an invaluable asset to SteadyRain and is helping us move to the next level of software engineering and development for both projects and products," said Thompson Knox, President of SteadyRain. "Now that he has earned this highest level of distinction within his field of expertise, we look forward to providing clients with even more advanced and unique business solutions leveraging Microsoft's technology stack and, specifically, Microsoft SharePoint."
