Startup Ginjex Launches To Revolutionise Local Classifieds
Ginjex, a London tech startup is aiming to disrupt classified directory sites with a new advertising platform for service businesses allowing them to broadcast their availability to prospective customers during quieter periods or whilst on the move.
- (1888PressRelease) September 11, 2012 - Ginjex, a tech startup launching out of Central London is the latest company seeking to be the first of the next generation of classified ads services. Currently in Beta, Ginjex allows service businesses across a wide range of sectors to advertise their availability or run special offers in real time, providing them with a way to attract new business on the fly between appointments or during quieter periods.
The company has created a platform for desktop and mobile that lets business owners reach prospects by location and interest. Business owners can 'turn their taxi light on' to indicate their availability with one SMS.
Ginjex also allows users to 'follow' specific categories providing business owners with a tool for getting a qualified customer whenever one is needed. In industries such as dental care, where a cancelled booking can mean a potentially significant loss of revenue, posting a live advertisement on Ginjex to fill the slot could be the solution.
Founder Mark Riley, vastly experienced in the industry as a former Gumtree and Amazon executive, explained the business problem that led to him creating Ginjex: "Currently businesses pay large sums for advertising in directories regardless of whether or not they can actually serve a customer.
With Ginjex businesses only pay to broadcast their availability when they are able to serve, providing a cost effective method of filling what would otherwise be wasted time."
Posting an advert on Ginjex is currently free. For more information visit www.Ginjex.com
