- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2011 - Starting Time will reintroduce the Eye Cue 20-20 putter at the PGA 2012 Merchandise Show [Booth 1915] being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 26-28, 2012. Invented nearly 15 years ago and patented by Dr. Howard Bailey, the Eye Cue 20-20 putter was the preferred putter by many on the PGA Tour, including Paul Azinger, Missie McGeorge and Graham Marsh... Since then, more than 10,000 Eye Cue 20-20 putters have been sold worldwide.
Howard Bailey is famous for being a leading developer of instruments and techniques for training visual skills of professional and Olympic athletes as well as "Top Gun" pilots for the Navy. These experiences led to the development of the Eye Cue 20-20 putter, which was designed with a focus on aiming accuracy and allowing the eyes to lead the body in putting. The result was a pure brass putter, designed to have the palm doing the aiming and developing the true feeling of confidence.
Hugh Penton, President of Starting Time had read about this "magic" putter and arranged with Dr. Bailey to license Starting Time to produce the putters exactly to Dr. Bailey's patented specifications. That included the club balance, lie angle, special grip and loft angle.
