Celebrities To Attend The Bohemian Dream Party At Bardot Hollywood on March 6th.
Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 14, 2011 - Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother), Jason Ritter (The Event), Zachary Levi (Chuck), & Ben McKenzie (Southland) will host the 1st annual 'Bohemian Dream Party' to benefit the Los Angeles based charity Young Storytellers Foundation. The event will take place on the evening of March 6th, 2011 at Bardot, which is part of the historic Avalon Theatre.
The mission of the the Young Storytellers Foundation is to develop self-expression, self-esteem, and literacy through the art of storytelling. Since 2003, YSF has successfully run an in-school arts eduction program in screenwriting. They target under-served, arts-poor public schools in the the greater Los Angeles area, and bring entertainment professionals into the classroom for one-on-one mentoring sessions with students, as part of the larger curriculum in storytelling.
The black tie affair kicks off with a red carpet entry for all the invited celebrities. All guests will be greeted by dapper magicians (Kevin Viner & Michael Friedland) who will perform a magic trick that will leave the men with carnations and the ladies with a rose (provided by Empty Vase). After that, hostesses will lead guests to an absinthe distillery, provided by Lucid Absinthe.
After sharing a toast and learning about the charity with party creator Mike L. Murphy, guests are whisked inside the Bohemian 'den' where they will encounter a 'party for the senses'.
The entire space of Bardot will be themed with 1000's of flickering candles (design by Jorgensen Creative), live jazz music, complimentary wine and absinthe, delectable hors d'oeuvres, live paintings (provided by Girls Drawing Girls), dancers, gourmet truffle tasting (courtesy of Chef Stef), green fairies, seance room featuring palm and tarot readings (Dr. Sarah Larson), a celebrity fashion show (provided by RedLight PR), and a silent auction to benefit the charity.
The silent auction will feature such packages as the Girls Dream Weekend (featuring an exclusive 5 night stay at the Cabo Casa Rosada Resort in Mexico), Mind & Body Package, Pet Package, Guys Weekend Package, Couples Escape Package (featuring an exclusive 3 night stay at the Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa ), and all the head to toe fashion show outfits provided by RedLight PR.
