- (1888PressRelease) January 17, 2011 - Starman Electric announces the release of DataBridge™ V2 Wireless I/O modules. DataBridge wireless I/O modules offer a simple and reliable solution for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless. Modules automatically link together and function as a wireless cable for analog, digital, and serial signals. No complex configuration or development is needed to create reliable bidirectional wireless networks.
"These modules offer the next step in easy wireless technology, making wireless so simple that any developer can incorporate reliable wireless into their product. We've listened carefully to our customers and will continue to improve this product line in the future," said Michael Starman, Founder of Starman Electric.
The wireless modules do not require any software or programming experience, and can be configured through a simple jumper interface. For a more flexible setup, a serial command line interface is also supported. DataBridge V2 continues to offer the lowest latency on the market for wireless data transmission, while maintaining very low power and long range. Reliable data integrity is ensured by using checksums and acknowledgments and avoiding interference through its advanced hybrid frequency hopping scheme.
When asked about where wireless technologies may be headed in the future, Starman added, "While wireless has been around for a long time, only recently has it become easy and reliable enough to be integrated by almost any developer. In the future this trend will continue, making wireless more of a standard than a luxury in nearly all products and devices."
