Staging and Redesign (SAR) Instructor Duo named regional Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) Staging Professional of the year finalists
The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), has announced that Melissa Marro founder of First Impressions, Home Staging and Staging & Redesign Training(SAR) of Charleston SC and Linda Barnett, founder of Home Matters Home Staging, & Training of Indianapolis, IN, both Staging and Redesign (SAR) training instructors are Regional finalists for RESA Professional Stager of the Year.
- Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) November 24, 2010 - The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), an international association that provides support to all professional real estate Stagers, has announced that Melissa Marro founder of First Impressions, Home Staging & Interior Redesign Company and the Staging and Redesign Training Company (SAR) of Charleston SC and Linda Barnett, founder of Home Matters Home Staging, Redesign and Training of Indianapolis, Indiana, both instructors for the Staging and Redesign (SAR) training company are Regional finalists for the RESA Professional Stager of the Year, regions 2 and 3 respectfully.
Marro states "I am very excited and honored to be named as a finalist for this year's RESA Professional Stager of the Year competition. I am equally delighted to be asked to participate as one of the keynote speakers at upcoming 2011 RESA convention" Marro was a featured speaker at the 2010 RESA convention with the very popular workshop titled "Creating Limitless Marketing Opportunities-Become the go to Company", will be speaking to a large group of Home Stagers assembling at the RESA convention this year on the topic "Turning numbers into sales - Using Statistics to Grow Your Business". Marro-Recently announced that she had re-launched her Staging & Redesign (SAR) training courses which she began offering in January 2007.
Barnett- Who has also been asked to share her expertise as a member of the "Panel of Experts" at the upcoming 2011 Real Estate Staging Associations (RESA) International conference in Las Vegas states "It was quite an honor to be asked to set on the experts' panel and I am so delighted to be recently named one of the regional finalists for Professional stager of the year. The RESA International conference is known to be the only one of its kind by providing all International Stagers regardless of their designations or affiliations an opportunity to gather for professional development in the Home Staging Industry. Marro-Founder and Lead Trainer founded First Impressions, Home Staging & Interior Redesign in 2005 and helped it become one of the premier staging and training companies in the southeast. While still helping clients with their local staging needs, she also helps other stagers begin and grow their businesses. In 2007/2008 she also held the RESA Southeast Regional Vice President Position & was nominated for the 2007 RESA Staging Innovator of the Year and 2007 RESA Staging Professional of the Year awards. She was also named the national winner of the 2009 RESA Professional Stager of the Year Award and nominee of 2009 RESA Staging Innovator of the Year award. These awards were based on her significant industry volunteer work as well as individual and company achievements.
Barnett-A Staging professional, interior decorator, former realtor and Home Staging Trainer- founded Home Matters Home Staging and Redesign in early 2004 and today operates one of the most prolific Home Staging companies in Indiana having serviced over 1,200 clients with 5 design/staging specialist. Linda was trained in 2004 as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and extended her education in 2008 by becoming SAR Certified and again in 2009 by becoming certified as a CSP. Linda is also an Indiana State certified instructor through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency and the Indiana Real Estate Commission offering certified training to Home Stagers and Real Estate agents including a GRI Continued Education class for the Indiana Association of Realtors at the IUPUI Campus at Kokomo, Indiana. Linda served as Technical Editor for the Home Staging for Dummies book, which was released by Wiley Publishing, Inc. in May of 2008.
