To qualify for admission, the applicants must be currently teaching and have access to a classroom. They must be graduates of an institution of higher education, hold an honours degree; or an approved professional qualification deemed equivalent to an honours degree. Applicants who do not have English as their first language, nor as the medium of instruction, are required to achieve a British Council IELTS average final score of 6.5 no more than two years prior to admission in PGCEi. Applicants who do not satisfy these prerequisites may apply for non-standard entry.
