Kochi: St. Teresa's College (Autonomous) has invited applications for Mother Teresa Lima Awards given in the socio-cultural and educational fields. People, who have excelled in these fields, can apply for the award, according to the college. The award comprises Rs. 25000 and a citation. Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima had played an important role in Kerala's renaissance by bringing changes in the educational and social fields of Kochi. The award was instituted by the college management in the year 2015. The previous winners include Dr. M. Leelavathi, Smt. Sheeba Ameer, Smt. Mary Esthappan and Smt Lisba Yesudas. The award will be presented at Mother Teresa memorial function at the college on January 29, 2020.
