St. Lawrence International Film Festival Announces July 2018 Official Selections For Sliff Online

(1888PressRelease) July 17, 2018 - St. Lawrence International Film Festival has announced its official selections for July 2018 via its SLIFF Online format.

Establishing itself as a leader among online short film competitions, SLIFF Online proudly presents four diverse short format works at www.stlawrencefilm.com , including:

· Webseries “ZBurg,” (9:29) USA – Dir. Mark Valley
· Webseries “Lienzo en Blanco,” (28:00) SLV – Dir. Leslie Ortiz and Gabriela Cruz
· Narrative “Red is Dead” (9:46) UK – Dir. Robyn Keetley
· Narrative “Day Off” (11:00) GER – Dir. Alex Griffith

Additionally, SLIFF Online has named its Winner from June’s Official Selections: Director Max Romey is the festival’s Filmmaker to Watch for his documentary “How NOT to Capture the Grand Canyon.”

All of the announced projects can be viewed at www.stlawrencefilm.com.

Online screenings begin the first of each month and run until the last day of the month. Rolling submissions for subsequent months open the first day of each month. Filmmakers can submit at www.filmfreeway.com/festival/stlawrencefilm or link to the submission site through the Festival website www.stlawrencefilm.com.

Official Selections receive promotional laurels, promotion to the Festival’s database and on social media. Winning projects each month will be featured on the Festival’s Filmmakers to Watch page for the year, receive prizes from partners such as filmmaker networking platforms iPitch.tv and InkTip.com and are promoted to the Festival’s curated list of entertainment industry influencers.
