Mark Benvegnu to Lead EHR Provider into New Stages of Growth. End Quote

Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2012 - Spring Medical Systems, a leading provider of EHR solutions for independent medical practices, announces that Mark Benvegnu has been named President and CEO. In addition to this new role, Benvegnu remains Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.

Benvegnu is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience the technology industry. He has over a decade of experience specifically in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) and has served with the company as Vice President and/or Board Member for more than eight years. In addition to his service with Spring Medical Systems, he has held key management roles with BMC software, AppWorx Corporation, among others and was the founder and principal of HIT Marketing Solutions, a marketing strategy firm dedicated solely to Healthcare Information Technology companies and products.
