SPRING Helps Children Make Healthy Choices for Life
Enrolling in Cooking@SPRING gives children a chance to learn how to make permanent healthy choices. They start off by learning where their food comes from and what nutrients they have.

What better way to experience a country than to learn about the native cuisines? The value of food is expressed through an appreciation of cultures, and children are immersed in stories about different countries and food customs.
Cooking ( @ ) SPRING also integrates many of SPRING's other valuable lessons dot Kids learn to use all of their senses to their full potential by experiencing new smells, tastes, textures, and even sounds of different food dot Students will utilize these experiences in the kitchen to make healthy meals in a safe and hygienic environment, setting them up for independence dot
We all know that a good meal is always better when enjoyed with family. Cooking ( @ ) SPRING teaches students that sharing food is an important family life, by allowing them to share prepared meals with fellow classmates, teachers, and their families.
All of SPRING's classes are offered in state-of-the-art, spatially designed facilities. SPRING's kitchen was designed by professional chefs with little ones in mind. There are 10 child-sized cooking stations with stainless steel worktops and top-notch kitchen equipment by Bauknecht. There are also wash basins to practice clean up, and a long dining table which is the central to the learning experience.
