Southern Season Hosts Food & Wine Festival Through Sept. 29
Landmark Gourmet Food And Gifts Store Invites Public To Savor September With Gourmet Food, Wine, Music And More.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) September 10, 2013 - Southern Season, the South's premier destination for local and international fine food, wine, specialty gifts, cookware and cooking classes, is hosting its September Food & Wine Festival now through Sunday, Sept. 29 at 201 S. Estes Drive. Each week during September, the store will highlight different wine trends and the delicacies that best complement them, including specialty deli and cheese selections, with in-store samplings and demonstrations. Recently renovated and expanded, Southern Season's wine department features a wide array of local and international wines to suit any palate. The free event will also feature live music by local artists.
In addition, Southern Season will host "Fridays Uncorked" each Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. during the month, with tickets available for $15 by registering in person or calling (919) 913-1205. These events will focus on the unique marriage of wine and food. The Fridays Uncorked offerings include the following:
