WHY: Over 315,000 children in Southeast Michigan rely on free or reduced-price meals in school. Over the summer, when school is out, these children often go without the food they need to grow and be healthy, leaving them at risk of life-long effects of hunger and malnutrition. The Hunger Free Summer campaign's goal is to provide 2 Million meals for children in our community this summer!
