Southampton recruitment firm supplies staff for Dubai World Cup
A Southampton-based hospitality recruitment firm has been asked to supply a team of supervisory and managerial hospitality staff for the Dubai World Cup - one of the most prestigious events in the horseracing calendar.
- (1888PressRelease) February 07, 2011 - rd resourcing, a catering and hospitality recruitment specialist, has been approached to supply a team for the Dubai World Cup in March 2011, and staff with relevant experience are being asked to come forward to apply for the various roles available.
As one of the most prestigious and expensive horseracing events across the globe, the Dubai World Cup marks a special occasion for the company not just due to its high profile - but also because it represents the first foray across international waters for Southampton-based rd resourcing.
"This is a really great move for the company and fantastic experience for our staff," said Richard Disney, founder and MD of rd resourcing. "The furthest that we have worked to date is Scotland, so we have never been off the island before."
The opportunity to participate in the Dubai World Cup came about as a result of working with Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire. Having built an impressive reputation with the club over two years, rd resourcing was approached to work with the Dubai event when the club's hospitality manager moved overseas to live in the United Arab Emirates.
"It's a real pat on the back for our guys," said Richard. "It's their hard work and commitment over the past couple of years that really put us in the spotlight and led to this opportunity.

rd resourcing will supply a team of managers and supervisors to work at the event, who will stay in Dubai for 7-10 days and will have all travelling expenses, accommodation and costs covered.
