A South Yorkshire couple have had the wedding they always dreamed of, thanks to Sheffield's Kenwood Hall Hotel. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) November 04, 2010 - Joanne Morris and Rob Shaw, from Rotherham, entered a competition at last year's Ultimate Bride Show, where the prize was to "win a wedding".

And last weekend, the pair tied the knot at a civil ceremony at the four-star venue, in front of family and friends.

The prize the Shaw's won was worth nearly £4,000 and included reception drinks, wedding breakfast for more than 40 guests, evening reception for 100 and an overnight stay in the bridal suite for the lucky couple.

Joanne said: "I couldn't believe it when I got the call from Kenwood Hall. With the credit crunch we were considering putting our wedding back. However, thanks to Kenwood Hall, we have had the wedding of our dreams I can't believe how lucky we have been."

The couple were able to take full advantage of the hotel's extensive grounds and its very own lake, which was the back drop for the wedding photographs.

Kenwood Hall General Manager Janet Gurr said: "It was a pleasure hosting Joanne and Rob's wedding. They are a fantastic couple and we enjoyed their big day just as much as they did."

Janet added: "We ran the competition because we wanted to help a couple realise their wedding dreams. Because of the success of this wedding, we are now running another competition to win a wedding for 40 daytime guests and up to 100 in the evening."
