Soular Entertainment Begins Production On WISH WIZARD
Newly launched production company Soular Entertainment has started production on the much-anticipated film "Wish Wizard" to help Make-A-Wish Foundation® grant 4 wishes.
- (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2010 - Los Angeles, CA - As of Wednesday, November 3rd, Soular Entertainment began production on the film "Wish Wizard," which will feature four children with life-threatening medical conditions receiving their Hollywood-themed wishes from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
As supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Soular Entertainment producers Stephani Drapeau and Andre Gordon were first approached to help fulfill the wishes of the quartet: Kimberly, Kabrina and Daria each wished to be an actress, and Matthew wished to be a movie director. Going above and beyond the call of duty, they decided to co-create and co-write a movie so that the kids could gain hands-on experience in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
Kept a surprise until the very end, the kids will have a chance to star in the movie alongside celebrities such as Ed Begley Jr., Kathryn Joosten, Bobb'e J. Thompson, Josh Sussman, Anneliese van der Pol and David Koechner. Also joining in on the action is famed producer Garry Marshall, who stepped behind the camera for a day of production to mentor Matthew in directing and producing a film.
"The turnout for this project has been amazing," says Drapeau. "Everyone involved has joined the project with one thing in mind, making this a memorable and life-changing experience for these kids. To have been given the opportunity to grant their wishes and to see that twinkle in their eyes is such a fulfilling experience for me."
Co-creator and director Gordon adds, "Wish Wizard has been the most meaningful project I have ever done. It's been the most important project I will ever do, and it is an honor to be a part of this incredible team."
"Wish Wizard" is a short film about two kids who embark on an enchanted journey and with the help of a mystical Wish Wizard, find that happiness lies within….
