Sorrow writer and director attends Mad Monster Party Horror Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina
Be ready for pulse racing story enclosed with twists and turns with the movie Sorrow. Director and other cast of movie attended the Monster party in Charlotte.
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) April 01, 2015 - This weekend, writer and director of the indie horror film Sorrow Millie Loredo attended the Mad Monster Party Horror Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina along with Vice President of Slasher Marketing Bob Clark.
She and Clark had a table set up at the event where they sold tickets to the screenings of Sorrow in Charlotte and in Atlanta, Georgia. They also raffled off Sorrow DVDs and movie posters signed by Loredo and the film's lead actress Vannessa Vasquez. Daphne Reeder and Alex Jarman were the lucky winners of the raffle.
Loredo got to meet other horror filmmakers and directors, including Robert Elkins, director of Zombie Isle; Robert W. Silion, director of Athena; John Dondero, director of the television series The Dark One; and John Stauffer, director of Pieces of Talent.
She also got to meet actors from iconic horror films, like Danny Trejo from Machete, Tobin Bell from the Saw films and Sid Haig who played Captain Spaulding in Loredo's favorite film, The Devil's Rejects.
Lastly, Loredo was able to speak with vendors about creating merchandise for Sorrow. She will now be working with Candybones Creations and High Life Smoke Shop to sell handcrafted Sorrow merchandise.
Loredo is really excited about her upcoming movie. According to her, Sorrow movie is based on her terrifying nightmare. She had given words to his nightmare on paper and that's how Sorrow happened. Before turning her dream into feature film, she shot a short film of 15 minutes. After watching the commendable performance of actors, she made her mind to turn her dream into a feature film.
Talking about the casting stars of the movie. Vannessa Vasquez plays the lead role as Mila Sweeney, Eric Martinez plays the role of Dale, Mary Etuk can be seen in the role of Hersey Igor, Melissa Mars in role of Salinas, a detective, Andrew Sensenig protray role of Chief of Police and Donny Boaz can be seen as playing the role of detective Farrell. This movie will surely brings the upgraded version of evil and crime which audience might not have ever thought for.
Writer and director Millie Loredo and the cast of Sorrow will tour to screen the film in six cities in five different states following its premiere at River Oaks Theatre in Houston, Texas and on Amazon Prime Tuesday, April 21.
