Sophos Expands Focus on Cloud Security with Key Executive Appointment
Bill Lucchini, OnForce and Intuit senior executive, named general manager of new Sophos Cloud division.
- (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2013 - Dubai, UAE - Sophos announced the appointment of Bill Lucchini as general manager of Sophos Cloud, the company's new Cloud business unit. Lucchini will be based in the Company's North American headquarters in Boston, and will report to Sophos CEO Kris Hagerman.
Lucchini brings more than twenty years of business strategy, management and operational excellence to Sophos. He will be responsible for driving the company's cloud strategy, a key strategic priority. Lucchini previously served as chief operating officer of OnForce, Inc., where he was responsible for all day-to-day operations for the company, a leading cloud-based technology talent marketplace for on-site field service providers.
Prior to OnForce, Lucchini spent 17 years at Intuit. He held a variety of leadership roles in several of Intuit's key SaaS offerings including Intuit QuickBase, an online database used by Fortune 100 companies; the Intuit Partner Platform, Intuit's platform and app store for delivering small business SaaS applications; and QuickBooks Online, Intuit's SaaS-enabled small business accounting product. He also led Intuit's Mid-Market Division where he launched Intuit's first VAR channel.
