Guest Speaker, Sonya Giffin, spoke about 'The Buyer-Seller Dance' at the past ECEW Lunch, Learn & Earn luncheon.
- Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2010 - Carol Williams, Founder of East Cooper Entrepreneurial Women (ECEW) and Real Estate Professional for Keller Williams Realty, announced today the November 2010 Lunch, Learn and Earn at Water's Edge Restaurant in Shem Creek on Tuesday, November 9th was a big success. The luncheon featured Sonya Giffin of Sandler Training-SC. She spoke about what she calls 'The Buyer-Seller Dance,' the typical sales process and buyer response and how to avoid it at all costs.
Giffin's talk about the 'Buy-Seller Dance' provided ECEW members with a step-by-step process to gain control of the sales process. The first step is to interrupt the pattern by not sounding like a sales person then set the ground rules by establishing how much time you have for the appointment and discuss the agenda and outcome for the meeting. The next step is to find the pain or the problem in their business that you can help with. Then discuss their budget and establish how much money they are willing to invest to solve the problem. After that, it is time to uncover their decision making process or who ultimately makes the decision. The final steps are to show them how you are going to fix the problem with their budget and then it's time to make the sale and deal with any buyer's remorse.
"Sonya Giffin is an exquisite example of one of the many great business professionals we have here in Charleston. I'm constantly amazed about how many great business organizations and innovative professionals we have living and working in this city. We can't thank Sonya enough for sharing her knowledge and expertise with us," said Williams.
