Solebay Music Release 'The Harley Davidson Sessions'
Coming off the back of a five year creative relationship with Harley Davidson, Solebay Music are set to release the much in demand 'The Harley Davidson Sessions'.
- (1888PressRelease) December 06, 2012 - Following the hugely successful global ad campaigns, this previously unavailable collection of songs is set for release in December. Fans of the Harley adverts have long been calling for the music to be released as they dream of riding to the roadworthy tunes.
The six-track EP is the creation of the hugely successful music production house Solebay Music. Founded by producer To Be Frank, aka Frank Pescod, the company has created bespoke music for such companies as Louis Vuitton, River Island and the BBC, as well as numerous other apps, games and online media. Having never before released their material to the general public, the demand was too great for 'The Harley Davidson Sessions' to be ignored.
Combining a mixture of musical styles, the EP opens with the song 'Desert Songs'. Sounding like something straight out of Wim Wenders Paris, Texas, the solo guitar piece emphasises the sometime feeling of loneliness on the bike. Moving in a rather different direction, 'Full Steam Ahead' has an almost Krautrock feel as the constant beat and minimal synth melody drive the song. Elsewhere, 'Time To Ride' is a toe-tapping, rugged indie-rock piece and 'You Keep Lifting Me Higher' comes in three different versions - acoustic, rock and rockabilly - each evoking a change in feeling. The collection is truly a testament to the musicianship and songwriting abilities of the members of Solebay Music.
'The Harley Davidson Sessions' will be released on December 10th. Pre-order the EP from iTunes here.
