Significant Increases Achieved in Kilowatts Sold and Production Home Solar Starts During the Past 12 Months
- (1888PressRelease) February 07, 2012 - Scottsdale, Ariz - Solar electric systems installer, American Solar, announces several achievements during 2011. The company identified significant successes in the amount of kilowatts sold to existing homeowners and new home buyers.
Specifically, performance levels increased as follows in 2011:
• The annual kilowatts sold to American Solar's homebuilder channel increased by 34 percent in 2011 as compared to 2010.
• The company received 197 orders from homebuilders for new homes with solar.
• The kilowatts sold companywide in the fourth quarter of 2011 increased by 45 percent quarter-over-quarters.
As a result of these accomplishments and to keep pace with current and future sales activity, American Solar will be hiring additional personnel. The company is currently interviewing for several positions, including a residential sales manager, several system installers and additional operations personnel.
