Solamon Executives To Meet In Hungary Round Table Talks In Budapest Focus On Great Plain Development
Solamon Energy corp. expands efforts in Eastern Europe.
- (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2013 - Kingston, Jamaica - In the wake of coordinated efforts launched in Hungary over a year ago, Solamon Energy Corp. is pleased to announce senior executives will be meeting this week in Budapest with regional partners for the first time to discuss solar expansion across the Great Plain and explore the breadth of new opportunities uncovered by SVP Andras Toth.
As part of the Solamon strategy to succeed in non-Sunbelt nations across the globe, and recognizing the Hungarian Government has set an ambitious target to reach 14.65% share of renewable energy in gross final energy consumption by 2020, Toth says local partners agree the importance of implementing a self-sustaining energy strategy is paramount with a strong focus on the reduction of continued dependence on costly foreign-based fossil fuels.
Responding to increased interest and activity across Eastern Europe related to renewable energy solutions, Solamon executives are taking aggressive steps forward in the bid to install photo-voltaic solar farms connecting numerous communities of the Great Plain.
The custom turnkey renewable energy solutions offered by Solamon bring together and develop relationships between industry leaders in finance, design, construction and commercial equipment suppliers to make possible the installation of 20MW of renewable energy at a minimum to be delivered to the grid efficiently and effectively.
"We are excited to contribute and be a part of the diversification of Hungary's renewable energy portfolio," says Solamon President Jay Yeo. "As a net energy importer, home-grown renewables, such as solar, are an attractive solution for the Hungarian market in the short-term given our access to financing."
Solamon Energy typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated cells over a package of land called the Apollo Acre™. The company now also develops custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that are easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology and other innovative features to supply renewable energy.
About Solamon:
Solamon Energy Corp. sells integrated arrays of ground-mounted and rooftop photovoltaic cells. These solar power plants are connected by cable to varied transmission equipment, including converters, inverters and batteries, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre™. Additionally, it is expected the company's business activities will spin-off many jobs locally, given engineering requirements, construction, unit commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
