Solamon Energy Now Trading on Frankfurt Stock Exchange
Solamon Energy Corp., with company symbol SSL assigned by Deutsche Börse, starts trading on Frankfurt Stock Exchange as of July 14.
- (1888PressRelease) July 16, 2011 - Toronto - Solamon Energy Corp. is proud to announce that the company will be trading as of July 14 on the First Quotation Board (Open Market) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. "The team has worked extremely hard to get to this point," says Solamon CEO Graeme Boyce, "and we're very proud that our ideas are finally coming to fruition globally." The company symbol SSL was assigned last month by Deutsche Börse.
Solamon executives are currently travelling across the Caribbean islands meeting both civic and business leaders to discuss the implementation of 2MW solar arrays, as well as innovative hybrid energy solutions, including biodiesel, geothermal and wind technologies. "The initial response to our product, which we call the Apollo Acre™, has clearly demonstrated to us the next year ahead will be tremendously busy for us."
Solamon Energy designs and installs integrated arrays of ground-mounted photovoltaic cells that are connected by cable to each other and to converters, batteries and transmission points, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre™. The company intends to not only deliver turnkey power plants to Caribbean countries using renewable energy sources, such as sun and wind, but that they will also generate jobs locally, in terms of unit commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
The company is talking to many different leaders in governments and multi-national corporations to introduce solar-powered systems across open fields, hillsides and rooftops, as well as designing and implementing mobile systems called Solamon SunSpots™, which can be used at special events or in rural communities.
Solamon intends to build 50 Apollo Acre™ systems and provide 100MW of renewable energy to the Caribbean community and therefore seeks to operate additional field offices in Jamaica, Bahamas, Barbados and Puerto Rico.
