SoftTouch Appoints New Director of Business Development

With more than seven years of experience in the Marketing, Public Relations and Communication industry, Toro will support the company's growth in the restaurant and hospitality market, overseeing new customer relationships, while maintaining organic growth within the existing SoftTouch Reseller Network. She will also be responsible for all facets of the company's marketing initiatives, media relations and social media campaigns.

Prior to joining SoftTouch, Toro served as a Project Manager for a national IT services and consulting firm. In this role, she was responsible for the creation, development and implementation of media relations, corporate communications, brand management and marketing and web campaigns. Toro was also the Public Relations and Marketing Manager for an international music software developer, overseeing the company's marketing and advertising initiatives across a wide range of consumer products.

Toro attended Montclair State University and holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communication Studies, graduating summa cum laude. She supports her alma mater through the school's alumni association and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and Lambda Pi Eta, the Communication Studies Honor Society of the National Communication Association (NCA).

Toro gives back to the community through a variety of charitable, civic and professional associations. Most recently, she participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Palm Beach Walk in Boca Raton, Florida. She also volunteers her time and makes donations to local non-profit organizations such as the Salvation Army of Broward County, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Goodwill.
