SoftNAS Announces New Volume Pricing
SoftNAS, The #1 NAS in the Cloud, has updated its pricing to reflect volume discounts to reflect current market prices. Existing customers will automatically be price protected.
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) October 22, 2013 - SOFTNAS LLC, the #1 NAS in the Cloud software company, updated its uniform pricing to scalable pricing for volume discounts. In many cases, the price has dropped significantly. The new pricing reflects current market rates and allows SoftNAS to remain competitively priced from as low as $4.95 per month per terabyte.
"The new pricing model ensures that we are combining the most cost effective and flexible pricing with the rich functionality and premium features that SoftNAS is committed to delivering," said Rick Braddy, SoftNAS founder and managing partner.
SoftNAS pricing is now much more competitive and can be found at the pricing and plans page at: https://www.softnas.com/wp/products/pricing-and-plans/.
"If we use 16 terabytes as an example, industry prices range from free (open source) up to $32,000. SoftNAS ranges from $1,584 to $4,720 (depending on which edition) for a similar perpetual license, size and features," Braddy said.
SoftNAS will automatically price protect clients with standing monthly contracts, so that current customers will also benefit from the pricing changes.
The scalable volume pricing, combined with SoftNAS' software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model, creates elastic pricing options and helps puts SoftNAS in alignment with industry predictions of SaaS and public cloud services market growth.
According to a forecast from Gartner, a technology research firm, the public cloud services market is expected to grow 18.5 percent in 2013 to total $131 billion globally. The SaaS cloud market sub-segment is the third largest sub-segment, comprising 14.7 percent of the market in 2012.
