Horse Racing Ireland, established by the Irish Government under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act 2001 is a commercial semi state body which took over the functions previously carried out by the Irish Horse Racing Authority since 1994. HRI is responsible for the administration, promotion and development of Horse Racing in Ireland. HRI Subsidiaries include Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Ltd (ITM), Tote Ireland Ltd, and the HRI Racecourse Division (Leopardstown, Navan, Fairyhouse, Tipperary)
HRI chose WebCapture to automate the capture of supplier Invoices and associated data within their finance function.

HRI worked with SoftCo to review and implement a new process that allows invoices to be captured in a distributed web based environment that is centrally based. The system automatically links the scanned invoices to the invoice data in the web based purchasing system for approval. Access to all the supplier invoice documentation is managed securely via the SoftCo R8 on-demand document management system for compliance and is available instantly to all authorised users.
