Social Scene Heads To Indianapolis For 2018 Winter Tequila Festival
Indianapolis had fun during the Tequila Festival held last month.
- (1888PressRelease) March 18, 2018 - It was a truly Mexican-inspired tasting event at Broken English Taco Pub in Indianapolis during the 2018 Winter Tequila Festival held on the 17th of February. Three top brands were chosen by the guests as their favorites before the afternoon affair ended.
Indianapolis has been tapped by Social Scene and its partners for various drinking events, from wines to whiskey. No wonder its team kept coming back for more in every season, and this time, another Tequila Festival was held in the winter.
The festivities began at 4 p.m. EST and the guests could do nothing but to get their share of tequila and enjoy the food specials served during the event. There were also special giveaways and exciting encounters with tequila brand representatives.
Winning Brands
Social Scene chose Broken English Taco Pub as the venue for this year’s Winter Tequila Festival for its artistically-designed interiors reminiscent of the traditional villages of Mexico. After all, tequila has been harvested in the fields of the region.
Complete with their stunning flavors, the brands showcased their products and addressed various questions and curiosities coming from the guests. Some of these brands included Exotico Tequila, Camarena Tequila, El Buho Mezcal, Marca Negra Mezcal, Cabrito Tequila, Centinela Tequila, and El Jimador.
By the end of the event, they were able to select three brands that captivated their tastes. These winning brands were Camarena, El Buho Mezcal, and Milagro. All of these labels may have served the same liquor but only a few were able to stand out from among the rest.
The event truly nurtured Indianapolis’ love for great tequila. The city situates itself at the heart of the nation, but its cultural affinity with Latin America has even been more emphasized when such gatherings take place.
