Additionally the windows can be operated by remote, separately from the top. A chirp feature can be activated to give a quick "chirp" of the horn when locking or unlocking the car and each owner can decide if an ongoing operation should continue if the ignition is turned off or the engine is started while the top is in motion. If needed, the entire module can be temporarily switched off while retaining all individual user preferences and thanks to the plug-and-play wiring it is possible to revert back to factory condition within minutes without leaving traces.
The custom designed plug-and-play wiring adapter allows for straight forward installation of the SmartTOP module by simply plugging it in between two connectors. A standard USB connector on the module gives end users the ability to configure the product with a couple of mouse clicks as well as installing firmware updates (available free of charge for the life of the product).
