SmartScrubs Retail Stores encourage a uniform recycling program for local customers.
San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) February 11, 2011 - SmartScrubs - retailer of medical scrubs, nursing uniforms and exclusive retail outlet of S.C.R.U.B.S. brand apparel, is proud to announce the success of the Uniform Trade-In program.
SmartScrubs customers are encouraged to bring in two clean, gently-used scrub tops or pants to any of their three retail store locations. In return, customers receive $10 off a S.C.R.U.B.S. brand top. Donated scrubs are then put to use by a variety of local non-profit organizations. According to Program Manager Michelle Shaw, "We watched the Salvation Army drive off with nearly a thousand units of our scrubs, which will get put to good use out in the community. There are a lot of people looking for work today, and providing them with uniforms to wear to work is a great feeling." Trade-in scrubs must be laundered, no embroidery, holes or stains.
The Uniform Trade-In program is an ongoing initiative at SmartScrubs retail locations in Mesa, Arizona, La Mesa, California and Ontario, California.
SmartScrubs offers scrubs, uniform apparel and accessories for men and women. Visit smartscrubs.com/locations to find a store location near you.
