SmartKem Gains International Recognition at the R&D100 Awards
Leading organic semiconductor company SmartKem has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious 2015 R&D 100 Awards, which identify and celebrate the top global technology products of the year.

The tru-FLEX® semiconductor technology has gained significant traction globally as the thin-film transistor (TFT) technology of choice for display manufacturers seeking the next phase of added value in the consumer experience - the flexible, even foldable, electronic display.
Now in its 53rd year of the Awards, the R&D 100 serves to identify true innovation across industry, academia, and government-sponsored research. This acknowledgement coincides with SmartKem's significant and rapid growth following recognition of the true capabilities of tru-FLEX® by global technology and display leaders.
